A guitar is very personal. That’s why I wanted to change the standard plastic pick-guard and replace it with something different. The hand-cut look and feel gives the guitar a new personality. Check out the photos below to see the details:
These are the things I used:
- Leather (1.5-2mm thick vegetable tanned leather)
- Scalpel
- Candle
- Gerber Multi Tool
- Modeler
- Nylon Bone Folder
- Needle in improvised leather grip/holder
- Eco-Flo gum tragacanth
- a good metal ruler
- small/medium edge beveller
- stitching groover
- small brush
- small wool dauber
- Mink Oil
- Dyes: black, whiskey & yellow

i got a few questions for you:
1)do you have a shop that people can visit?
2)where did you learn leatherwork?
